So I have not posted in quite a while. So sorry. I have been so busy!! I am getting together a Holiday Shopping Extravaganza with about 8 other social shopping(direct sales) companies to have a big holiday shopping event. I am so excited and am fortunate enough to have Dick Patrick, a commercial photographer, as a friend since he has a 5000 sq ft photo studio he is letting us use--for FREE! It is a great space and has music and all. Starbucks let me put up my flyer. We got ads in Dallas Morning News online, KDKR radio station, KLTY radio station, craigslist, Dallas Observer, KISS FM and I am passing more flyers out like crazy. Debbie, one of the ladies doing the event with us, handed out flyers to all the stores at West Village!! I am SOOOO excited about this event!! I am considering hiring a cop to guide traffic and parking...what do you think? Am I being overzealous?
I had my first booth at an event this past weekend. I would say it was a success. I sold about $200 in jewelry, which is good for an event since they usually aren't great for sales. We got names and emails from quite a few people interested in booking a show and some really great leads on buyers who are going to probably buy online. Fabulous! I offered my gift wrapping and delivery and it was a hit too. I think the holidays will really be great and am looking forward to our event to see how November pans out since I only have one show besides the event. Eeesh. Thanksgiving is a little bump in the road too.
I have to tell you about a great look I put together tonight!! I took a pic of myself with it on so you can see it...Sofia single strand, gold textured chain with the Olivia charms on it, La Coco without the brooch. It was super cute. Then the champaign, brown and ivory soiree pave bracelets and my Sofia smoky cluster ring. Just thought I would share. I will be updating again soon with some cute layering I am trying out! Layering is very in right now, and I am totally loving it. It is so me. I am trying to layer some things with the Flower CZ necklace too, as it is one of my new faves.
I have a shout out to Katie. Katie, I don't know your last name and I don't even know if you read this blog(probably not), but here is the story: I am in a ladies networking group (or 2 or 3) and one of the girls in my group is a rep for another direct selling company. She emailed me one night after our meeting and said she wanted to talk about signing up with Stella & Dot—of course! Well we've been talking and last night she called me to tell me she was on her way to an event in McKinney (suburb north of me) and there would be a S&D stylist there. After the event she called to tell me this: She knew who you were from Stylist Space, she said you were a rockstar and that I was super lucky to have you as my trainer. Crazy!! That totally made my week!!! So Katie, whoever you are, you are awesome and I am so glad you think that about me. I think that about all of our Stylists and our company. It is so incredible. I ♥ you Stella & Dot!

0 little bits of love!:
