Just wanted to drop in and say what a wonderful, incredible 2009 this has been! I have done more than I have ever dreamed or hoped for my family and career. Stella & Dot, while it is young and sometimes still experiences some growing pains, is working diligently and around the clock to assure all of our customers, potential customers, Stylists, prospective Stylists and hostesses the best. They strive for the best because they are one of the best (in my humble opinion!)
I have learned how to nurture relationships—whether business or personal.
I have learned:
...making a "living" is not the same thing as making a "life".
...life sometimes gives you a second chance
...that it's those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular.
...that a smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.
Just a few things that UNT, Integer, Powerpact and TracyLocke never taught me, but Stella & Dot and my son have. Thanks to all who have supported me and helped me get there! I will have a great new post on our new line January 15th!! Have a great New Year!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!
This will be my last post until after the New Year, so I wanted to make it worth your while. I thought and thought and racked and racked, what do I post on this time? I decided on ending it with what a great year it has been and all the new goodies to look forward to in 2010! I've only been with Stella & Dot a short 6 months, and it seems like a full year already. Our 2009 Fall/Winter collection proved to be more fabulous and record-breaking in sales than ever imagined! We were all over the press, at least once a month and continue to be covering the press and celebs alike. Our oh-so-fabulous Chief Creative Officer and jewelry designer, Blythe Harris, said that she already attended some media events and Elle magazine and InStyle is already going crazy over our new Spring/Summer 2010 line! They are already confirming some press for us for this line. I only have a few snaps of the line, and they are small at best.
I have to give a shout out to the ladies who have helped my business tremendously in the last few weeks, especially—Shara at MommyPerks & Abbey at Living My MoMent. Although I just started with Abbey, she is already great. Shara is the Owner of Mommy Perks and is running a top-notch business helping other mompreneurs, other moms and all in the MP community to get great deals, steals and discounts on great products and services. Please go join for free! Also, you can read the VIP blog with great goodies there. Join Mommy Perks on facebook and twitter too. Thanks Shara!!
I have also joined with Abbey at Living My MoMent, a website "supporting businesses and blogs...one MoM at a time". She has generously posted a wonderful ad on the homepage for me and my S & D business! Abbey is a young mother and runs this incredible website as well. Please also follow her on facebook and twitter.
And now for the wonderful lady who introduced me to these incredible ladies...Diane Stewart of My Vintage Baby. Incredibly cute, retro, vintage but modern children's clothing, diaper bags, accessories and Mom's clothing too! Their line is truly fun and unique and Kelton's shirt is the cutest one in his closet—seriously. Especially now, their fall line is 40% off and comes really quickly! Get it while you can. Just a note though...I'd order a size up because they tend to run small. Kelton is barely in 18mo and I am exchanging his for 24 mo.
As for the rest of the year....well there is just too much to write. I found Stella & Dot and its wonderful world of fashion, fabulous women, support and a whole new world I was unaware existed. I have found true joy in my job, as a mother and as a blogger! Thanks to all who have led me here and are still leading me to greater heights!
