What to Wear in 2010--Its a New Year...Refresh Your Wardrobe!

Ok, so my posts are getting a little bit too far apart. I guess that shows you how busy I've been, right? Whew. I've been here and there and everywhere. Tomorrow is my last show of the month and I want it to go out with a bang!! I think it is going to be a great one. I love the hostess, even though I've never met her. She found me via a mom site we are both on and she is in social selling too with My Vintage Baby clothing. Such cute stuff!!
Now on to fun stuff. Trends. I feel that at Stella & Dot I get to learn about trends before others do. Blythe Harris, our CCO and jewelry designer is always on-trend and never ceases to amaze me. This spring and summer is going to be about corals, blushes, neutrals, ivories and greys. I love it! I have some great finds to go with our pieces seamlessly. Banana Republic is always a fan fave, most of all mine. They have great materials and well-made clothing.
For instance, this flutter sleeve top (on the 40% section too!). What a great simple top. How many ways can you wear this and with how many pieces of jewelry? Don't get me started!! How about all of the necklaces here?(From left to right: Happy Flower, St. Tropez, Colette, Avery, Josephine)Jeans, a skirt, cropped jeans, shorts. Throw a blush-colored(called pale blossom here) cardigan over it and the Boca necklace with the Bee Brooch and you are set for a sunny day!
I also love the crisp white pants that are in. Ok, I know many of you ladies are rolling eyes and just skimming past this part thinking, have you seen my hips, thighs and/or butt? I, no way, will be wearing white on that half of my body! Fret not young lassies! I, too, have those same qualms. If you find the right top to flatter and cover a little bit of that it will draw attention upward and not downward and you dont need to worry about looking bigger in white. It is such a clean and refreshing color to wear in the nice weather months. Also, simple t-shirt dresses and sundresses. You can find those almost anywhere. I especially like this one since it is fitted and just so darned cute! Go shopping ladies and see what you can find to fit your jewelry and your inner fashionista!

0 little bits of love!:
