On to other news...

Now that I've shared my Pinterest love in my post last week...I do hope you have jumped on the bandwagon or at least followed my boards. But...what else is new?

To save you the eyerolls on politics and the latest on the Kardashians...I thought we could talk about more fun things like sprucing up your home—DIY style. Yay! Ok, so I'm not an expert, ok I haven't even really done all that much ever as far as DIY but I can at least find so much inspiration on the subject that I will soon, VERY soon implement some of these.

First up, how about a no-sew roman shade? Who hasn't seen the cute ones at Pottery Barn and the like, but sigh when you see the price? Yes, I know. Me too. But look at this gem of a project! Now just about anyone can do this. The step-by-step tutorial is here, and seems relatively simple.

I can't wait until February comes around because my husband IS a DIY-er (a proscrastinating one nonetheless, but I digress) and he is finishing our guest/kids' bathroom that has been down to sheetrock since January 2011. I will post the before and afters once it is all done, but it will be a world of difference, let me just say that ahead of time! Also, I am doing the baby's nursery and our 3-1/2 year old's new "big boy room" that he is transitioning to when baby comes. So yes, that is 3 room remodels before June 7th(due date)! Standby.
